TL; DR fault
- Invictus Capital has announced the African NFT collection to showcase the potential of African artists around the world.
- Africa is experiencing internet failures that have prevented its artists from joining the digital asset space.
Invictus Capital announced the Irreplaceable Collection of Tokens for Exhibiting African Art via Web 3.0 Technology. Digital assets labeled “Out of Africa” are handled by the Invictus NFT Lab. The company believes the program is vital to connecting African masters of the arts with other continents. The program aims to connect good works of art and blockchain networks. In addition, most African artists will see their work trend around the world and thus expose them to the world.
The project will begin early next year with digital collectible posters from common details. In February, NFT will show a unique physical art auction.
The call to announce the program has brought the company many accolades, especially from art-based stakeholders. For example, Marelize van Zyl, the custodian of the announced NFT collection, recognized the efforts of Invictus. He said this,
“The launched collection consists of 100 special digital arts. Works on Ethereum networks. The platform has given several African artists the opportunity to embark on a digital media platform. The program is a score for beginners, and also represents all artists, from beginners to established talents. ”
For his part, Charl Bezuidenhout of Worldart had that to say. “Through NFT, artists can have a global audience. And in return, the audience can quickly turn to the markets. In addition, artists earn royalties thanks to the blockchain network. ”
Blockchain plays a key role in achieving huge numbers. In addition, smart contracts give investors the confidence to enter space without fear of conflict.
Bringing African NFTs to major markets
Invictus leader Daniel Schwartzkopff added his voice in the conversation. According to him, NFT collections are vital for bringing digital assets to significant investment markets. He said the collection will bring together traditional artists, modern artists and all interested people among them.
It was only a matter of time before someone would be able to step up and build a collection of NFTs. Some African artists make money by selling digital assets. NFT is a big market, and most Nigerian artists have penetrated the space.
One of the most digital Nigerian artists, Chinese, is a testimony. He jokingly says he can quickly get enough pay for his NFT art. He adds that what prompted him to join the space was exposing his work to significant market, in fact global radar.
However, there is an obstacle for an African artist. The internet penetration of experts in Africa is low. It therefore prevents most creatives from joining the NFT world. Therefore, the entry of Invictus is a huge incentive for artists on the continent. The NFT market is of growing interest from various quarters, and African sports personalities should also be a part of it.
