HBAR Foundation has announced a partnership with Indian composer, producer and musician AR Rahman to create content for the new NFT music platform focused on India’s independent music community.
The Foundation would provide non-refundable and organizational support for the development and growth of the NFT platform, which is planned to be launched in the first quarter of 2022.
As part of the launch, AR Rahman will announce its first NFT decline, and part of the proceeds goes to charity. Mr. Rahman is best known for his Oscar-winning soundtrack “Slumdog Millionaire,” and he also won two Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe.
“We are excited to partner with the HBAR Foundation to create content, as well as support and mentor the new NFT platform, which in turn will bring more opportunities to the Indian music community,” Mr. Rahman said. “The new platform will allow independent music artists to publish content like NFT, interact with fans, collaborate with their communities and help monetize their creations.”
